The Evening

“An evening to celebrate Southeast Asian flavors, memory & connection.”

A one-night, seven-course tasting menu personally curated by Jaime, drawing on her Malaysian roots — roti canai, satay, laksa, pandan — each course her own interpretation of the food she grew up with.

Hosted in partnership with Manila Inasal, a beloved cornerstone of LA's Southeast Asian food community. Rumah means home — come as a guest, leave as family.

About Jaime

A Top 10 MasterChef contestant with a community of more than 2.5 million online, Jaime tells the story of her upbringing through food, drawing inspiration from her father's cooking and the warmth shared at home.

This is her first in-person dining event.

Good to know

What does my ticket include?

Your seat at the table and the full seven-course tasting experience! Your ticket and applicable sales tax are prepaid at checkout.

Is gratuity included?

Your tasting menu and applicable taxes are prepaid at the time of booking. Gratuity is not included in your ticket price. A minimum 18% gratuity is required and will be collected separately at the restaurant on the evening of your reservation. Guests will receive a bill for gratuity at the end of dinner, payable by card.

Is there an à la carte or children's menu?

We'll be serving one thoughtfully curated seven-course tasting menu, with smaller portions designed to be enjoyed throughout the evening. À la carte options and a separate children's menu won't be available.

What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?

Please let us know about any allergies or dietary needs when booking. We'll do our best to accommodate, but as this is a set tasting menu, certain substitutions may not be possible. For severe allergies, we recommend reaching out before purchasing your ticket.

Can I cancel or change my reservation?

Cancellations are accepted up to 5 days before the event. After that, tickets are non-refundable, but you're welcome to transfer your seat to a friend if you can no longer attend!

What if my preferred seating is sold out?

Join the waitlist! If a seat becomes available, we'll send you an email with a private booking link for a limited time.

Can I make a reservation for one?

Solo guests will be seated together at our communal family table. To ensure a comfortable dining experience, solo reservations are limited per seating and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
